Crashy88 I got the limited edition tape, and even though I actively deplore the revival of cassette tapes (I mean, seriously?), this was well worth it.

about

The OO-Ray returns with his new 30 minute cassette entitled Vespers. Haunting, faded, and noisy, Vespers evokes both the meditative and dark side of the winter months. Vespers takes full advantage of the medium of cassette tape, suffusing its audio with hiss. Its soundscape is littered with digital glitches and other signs of degradation. Lovers of sci-fi soundtracks and medieval music will find something to enjoy in Vespers.

Vespers will initially be available as a tape-only release. This run is limited to 25 copies, with hand-drawn and hand-stamped bespoke artwork. Each copy is unique.

Recorded with custom looping software on a Raspberry Pi. Mastered to cassette by Jason Schwab. Artwork and design by Liz Randall.

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally due to the small editions of our releases and they high number of lost copies we've experienced in the past. For international orders, please contact the OO-Ray directly at ted@15people.net.
